100 CLUB What is it? 

The 100 club is a way for all those people who have an interest in the ongoing welfare of the Parish Church in Rothbury to help contribute specifically to the increasing day to day running costs, and have some fun as well. We want All Saints to continue to offer undiminished facilities to all who may need them, be that as an historic monument, a place of worship or just a quiet and beautiful spot for contemplation and prayer. The fabric of the church is maintained by the faithful congregation through their regular contributions, but there are many who look to the church for other reasons, and we want to offer a rewarding way for all interested parties to help us to keep the doors open and the heating and lighting going. However, it is important to emphasise that there will be no requirement for any member of the club to have any connection with Rothbury, All Saints or the Church of England. 

How does it work? 

We need 100 members to contribute £2 per month, payable in two lump sums of £12 every six months commencing January 2007. On joining you will be able to select a number for each £12 you contribute, and each month your number(s) will be included in a draw on the last Sunday of the month. You may continue to hold your chosen number for a further 6 months when you rejoin the club by paying your next £12 during the fifth month. We hope to make each renewal occasion into some sort of social event, for example a coffee morning in the Parish Hall. 

How do we all benefit? 

Over a full year, assuming we get 100 members, we will take in £2,400, and we will return £1,180 to the members as prize money as follows:

Mar 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20; x£50 25+20+20+50 = £115

May 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20; 25+20+20 = £65 

June 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20; 1x£50; 1x£100 25+20+20+50+100 = £215 

July 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20 25+20+20 = £65 

Aug 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20 25+20+20 = £65 

Sept 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20; 1x£50 25+20+20+50  = £115 

Oct 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20 25+20+20 = £65 

Nov 5x£5; 2x£10; 1x£20 25+20+20 = £65
