WE WELCOME PEOPLE OF ALL DENOMINATIONS, AND OF NONE, TO UPPER COQUETDALE CHURCHES TOGETHER
The churches of Upper Coquetdale work closely together.
In March 2004 we signed a covenant, committing ourselves:
- to join together in prayer, worship and fellowship at least once a month
- to share in Christian witness and service through projects such as Alpha courses, shared pastoral care and outreach to the rural community
- to make available to each other our various resources and spiritual gifts to consult together about any new initiatives, so as not to do separately what might be done better together
- to explore how we may live, work and worship ever more closely together
We acknowledge the unity of our faith in God; we value the diversity of our traditions; and we acknowledge the unity of our calling to preach the Gospel in word and action.
